DETROIT - Two national organizations, Serve America and VoteVets, have endorsed Senator Adam Hollier for Michigan’s 13th Congressional District.
Serve America is a political organization that helps elect Democratic national service veterans to Congress. When endorsing Senator Hollier, Congressman Seth Moulton (MA-6), said: “Adam has answered the call to serve our country in uniform and is ready to lead in the halls of Congress. With our democracy at risk in ways it has never been before, America needs leaders who understand service and are committed to the Constitution and their constituents. I am proud to support Senator Hollier as he seeks to serve America once again."
VoteVets is the largest progressive veterans group in America, representing over 1.5 million veterans, families, and supporters. “Adam Hollier is someone who is constantly thinking of how he can give back, and how he can serve, which is what we need in Congress right now,” said Jon Soltz, Iraq War Veteran, and Chairman of VoteVets. “Adam worked hard to make his way into Ivy League and could have gone on to make a lot of money for himself. Instead, he kept looking for ways to serve his community and country. That spirit of selflessness is lacking in Washington, DC. Beyond that, Adam knows about the threats we face abroad and at home, and knows what it will take to keep our country and communities safe. We’re proud to endorse him.”
“I am honored to have the support of Serve America and VoteVets in the race to represent Michigan’s 13th District, “ Senator Hollier said. “Having served my country in the Army and my community as a firefighter, I know what it takes to answer the call to service and actually improve lives for people right here at home. I will keep doing the work, and having the support of organizations like these will help us get there.”
Serve America and VoteVets are the latest organizations to endorse Sen. Hollier, joining UNITE Here Local 24 and Plumbers Local 98 Political Action Committee.
